November 9 2017 – Tideman Boats are developing a dedicated HDPE oil spill response craft (OSRC) in partnership with Hebo Maritime Services.
Renowned for their robust nature, the Tideman Boats are made from HDPE and are capable of speeds of up to 50 knots, with a range of 20 miles offshore. Bruno Tideman, MD of Tideman Boats, commented, “The Tideman OSRC will be capable of swift oil boom deployment, and will provide high-speed response even in the most challenging of conditions. The Tideman OSRC will deploy 400m of oil boom, and has an integrated skimmer. It is easily transported inside a container or on a trailer, making it extremely versatile.”
